What is FIRST® Robotics Competition?

FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC) is the premier high school robotics league in the world. Teams of students work with professional engineers to design, build, and program massive 125-lb robots to compete on a themed playing field. It’s the ultimate combination of STEM skills, teamwork, and competitive fire.

Each season a new game is revealed — teams have just 6 weeks to design and build their robot from a standard kit of parts before competition begins.

This year’s game is called REBUILT℠ — all about excavation, construction, and teamwork under pressure.
